"Love this place. Definitely will be back and probably as frequent as I may! Had country fried steak with gravy. Crispy. See attached picture. Also had Reuben with turkey and slaw. Delicious. Corn fritters were really good so are their onion rings. Home made! Dessert list on wall menu wow impressive yet unfortunately I did not have enough room to try their dessert n can imagine as to how awesome their dessert would be! Gonna make sure ha e enough room for their dessert!"

"My wife and I have been coming to this gem of a restaurant for about 6 months. Originally, I came for the fried rabbit, but I have now broaden my tastes to other dishes as well. Plenty of very good food at a reasonable cost, and all of the people associated with the establishment are friendly. The restaurant is a dated restaurant ... get over the dated look and enjoy the food! Top off your meal with the absolute best coconut cake I have ever eaten. "

"Discovered this gem less than a month ago and has to bring my kids. Convinced the only thing they don't make from scratch are the rolls and soda. This time we had the chicken tenders, shepherds pie, and roast turkey with stuffing. This time I had kids trading their mashed potatoes for corn fritters and apple fritters. The ownership is as impressive as the food. Again, the owner was out in the dining room checking customer satisfaction. I accidentally left my discover card in the portfolio. In addition to locking it in their cash drawer, he went the extra step of calling discover and putting a hold on my card. While we were still eating my oldest asked when we were coming back. I can confidently say "soon.""

"we recently moved to the area and it seems that everything is 20 minutes away. The exception is the Butterburg Inn in Union Bridge. If you blink, you will miss the entire town. I encourage you to stop and try the Butterburg Inn where everything really is home made. My wife tried the fried chicken and she said that it rivaled hers. Now if that isnt a ringing endorsement is, I dont know what it. Oh, and the desserts are made there....no industrial made versions. The staff was helpful and informative, but dont be in a rush, because its like you woke up and found yourself in Mayberry."
